Environmental Champion for Christchurch.
Candidate for the Canterbury Regional Council.
Originally from China, I grew up in a rural village in the south. Our village used to live a self-sufficient life for hundreds of years before the government forced us to cut down all native forests in the late 1950s to make charcoal for steelmaking. That devastated our environment.
I’m married to my wife Wendy, and we have three children (two of them were born in Christchurch). We moved to Christchurch in 2012. Since then, Christchurch has been our home and precious sanctuary.
I’m an Environmental Health Officer of Christchurch City Council. I will bring my expertise, knowledge and skills to Ecan if I’m elected.
My priorities are:
1. Fresh Air, Clean Water, Make Our Soil Great Again.
2. Regenerate Native Flora and Fauna from the Mountains to the Sea.
3. Balance Productivity and Sustainability.
Let’s protect our environment together!
